Our patented two-way mixing action makes the difference! The Gramin mixing drum is set at an incline on its frame. You load ingredients into the front end hopper. Gravity pulls them into the back, lower end of the drum. Here, large return scoops - the biggest in the industry - mix and place the ingredients in an auger, which returns them to the front end of the drum. The ingredients are then expelled by the auger action and gravity pulls them down into the mixing rations at the back. All ingredients repeat this mixing cycle again and again. A secondary aggressive mixing action is created at the bottom of the drum by fall-off from the auger as the scoops deliberately overfill it. Gramin's extremely effective double-mixing action produces a perfect mix in just a few minutes. To unload the mixer, no reverse rotation of the mixing drum is necessary. Simply turn the discharge handle to regulate the amount of flow. The feed is then deflected from the return auger into the discharge chute for quick unloading.
